USB Mains Socket
This has to be our second favourite pick from the Macworld conference this year, how many times do you go to charge USB devices, mainly our iPods and iPhones only to find you cannot find your power adapter? It happens all the time to our team while we are out and about, it’s great when you are at home or the office with Mac’s at the ready, but on the move you can never find the power plug.
Imagine a world where every mains socket had USB charging built in, it would certinatly make life easier, plus you wouldn’t need to fire up a mac to give something a little bit of a charge.
However as I am sure people would be keen to point out can you imagine what is going to happen as soon as these things start to become common place? USB will be phased out and a new technology will become standard.
Anyway if you fancy having one while USB is still in there priced at $19.95 currently and are named the U-Socket.
